Expansive would be a good descriptor for Dark Medieval Times, the sound is typically quite “large”, with each riff never repeated into oblivion. Atmospherically, Dark Medieval Times is cold yet comforting. It’s a rather relaxing listen, far removed from albums such as Pentagram or A Blaze in The Northern Sky. Seperti Pertemuan Hitamnya Satyricon, Mayhem, Belphegor, Nader Sadek, Behemoth hingga Gorgoroth dapat memberikan sedikit gambaran konsep yang terjabarkan disini tersusun dengan sederhana dan cukup untuk membuat suasana seketika lebih Mencekam ! Harsh & Scream Vocal yang menyanyat, Harmonies Dark Riffing serta Pulverized Drumming, rasanya membentuk Aroma gelap sebenarnya, Cool ! The occasionally great atmosphere and adequate instrumental and vocal performances by Yogga and Gilang are all noteworthy aspects, some of which were superior to the respective elements in their contemporaries' works. However, the album's value is drastically hindered by the sloppy, sencial structure and blatantly pacing. Sebuah Karya yang patut dinantikan Materi Penuh-nya nih, ga kecewa banget buat All Blacker menikmatinya. Komposisi dan Sound menarik menjadi Daya tarik magis yang kuat memang didalamnya. This Promo is especially disappointing due to the immense potential it has in creating immersive atmosphere and great sense of wonder, which is all but ruined by several tremendous flaws, but the budding, largely unrealised genius makes it worth the time and assess for oneself whether the pros outweigh the cons. I highly recommend this for any fan of metal and medieval music.
