Beberapa Tahun yang lalu sejak kemunculan mereka lewat Album pertama " Widow's Weeds " tahun 1998 disusul dengan album Kedua " Beyond the Veil ", Symphonic/Gothic Metal dengan sentuhan Gaya Black Metal yang Hitam cukup dikenal di Kancah Internasional termasuk Indonesia sendiri nama Tristania begitu membooming saat ini dan mulai ditinggalkan memasuki album ke-3 " World of Glass " Tahun 2001, band ini mulai bereksperimen dengan sentuhan baru yang terdengar Modern cukup membuat Boring Fans 2 album terbaik sebelumnya. apalagi sejak ditambah keluarnya frontman Morten Veland yang membentuk band ini sejak 1996 karena perbedaan musikal yang mendasar, Tristania seperti telah kehilangan arah-nya dan membawa pengaruhnya kepada band barunya di Sirenia. dan walau Gw cuman juga menjadi pendengar 2 album pertamanya, sehingga gw kurang begitu memperhatikan perkembangan musikalnya saat ini, album baru yang dikerjakan bareng Produser dan Enjiner Christer-André Cederberg, pernah menangani albumnya Anathema ini adalah Gitaris band In the Woods... dan Drawn coba melanjutkan eksistensi Tristania pasca menggandeng Ole Vistnes era " Rubicon ". seperti ingin senantiasa eksis dan Produktif berkarya, Akhirnya Tristania resmi melaunching Album Full ke-8 ini tanggal 31 Mei 2013 masih bersama Labelmath nya, Napalm Records. masih membawa suasana era album " Rubicon ", warna bermusik Tristania masih begitu terasa menawan gaya modern style-nya. It feels to me as though this album is really trying to maintain all the superficial aspects of heavy metal while really just playing the most boring goth rock imaginable. Case in point: the harsh vocals. so they just end up sounding incongruous and thrown in at the last moment because the band remembered what sort of crowd they had before. The same goes for any of the more overtly aggressive elements: the double bass which pops up intermittently, the more aggressive, riffy passages, even the darker synth parts. All of those elements are so infrequent and so poorly applied that they just end up pointless in the greater context of the songs. What's the point of this? To convince metalheads to listen to what's otherwise bland goth rock? Apparently it's worked for a lot of people, but not for me. yang terus terang dari 11 Track yang mereka tawarkan berdurasi total hampir 1 jam ini kurang begitu memberi sentuhan yang " Baru " selain asyik saja untuk menemani suasana malam yang sepi hehehe ... Karakter Vokal Melankolis Vocalis seksi Mariangela "Mary" Demurtas masih menjadi Stimulasi Romantic Vokal terbaik untuk genre ini terdengar Manja hehehe ... selain itu Karakter Harsh Growl dan Clean Vokal masih menjadi sentuhan tersendiri bagi Konsep Tristania. meskipun track " Number " terdengar sangat " Hitam " namun sempat dipatahkan asumsinya dengan Track2 Mellow macam " Requiem, Diagnosis, Scarling, Lavender, dan Cyopher " , yup memang 80% Dominasi Track Gothic/Rock Mellow menjadi elemen kuat pada musikalitas Tristania saat ini lebih coba selling Out seperti halnya Nasib Within Temptation serta Sirenia. This would be an exceptional release under your average band, but Tristania have been nothing but above average since their debut. I'm all for a change in style, especially to something slower and more dramatic, but not at the sake of musical perfection. They started out with a good idea, a good goal, but simply didn't make it for whatever reasons. Perhaps they'll nail it with their next release? Every band releases an album not quite up to par at some point, so why should they be any different? are less metal and more gothic with hints of what used to be the band's prime properties. Deadlands and Destination Departure are again tailored purely to showcase the operatic vocals that Ashes suffered from lacking. The other songs round out the new style with some variety, offering truly unique and new material that fills the album with texture, poetic sense, and above all the painfully sad and cathartic gauntlet of music that marks the end of Tristania's first era. Lumayan banget menjadi Rekomendasi saat pengen dengerin nuansa yang Ringan2, Gw usulkan album ini menjadi Koleksi baru kalian hehehe.... has more production quality and experimentation than the past albums, and that’s not a bad thing. The layered vocals just sound phenomenal. The instruments are also more separated and cleaner sounding. This album has much more dynamic range in the female vocals as well.

Lama juga Telinga Gw tidak mendengar lantunan Genre Gothic Metal setelah hampir tiap hari di Bombardir dengan Death Metal Genre hehehe ... Memang melihat perkembangan Scene Tanah air masih begitu didominasi genre Cadas nan Cepat dan Berat, kehadiran Irama Metal penyentuh Hati seperti ini tidak terasa geliat-nya, meski sempat jadi Booming Genre di tahun 2005 an. Well, sepertinya tinggalkan sejenak dulu Mendengar materi yang Berat-berat nih setelah gw dapet rekaman Promo pertama Gothic Metal asal Sungai Guntung, Riau, DETERMINATION. dengan Karakter Musikal yang lebih Khas Style-nya dengan Kebanyakan Band-band Gothic Metal tanah air seperti Total Tragedy, Anueta serta lainnya, Namun tentu masih ada sesuatu yang " Menarik " dari Determination untuk Gw Tulis disini. Menjadi Debut pertama bagi band Bentukan 2011 lalu sebagai band Side Project Seorang Effendy Ars bersama anak Didik yang kebanyakan Cewek hehehe. Kristalisasi Keringat seni hingga akhirnya Promo 2015 ini dapat dilepaskan sebagai Bukti Eksistensi mereka tidak-lah maen-maen. Sebelumnya, meski gw tidak terlalu paham betul dengan Istilah pada dunia musik secara teori atau Formal, mungkin ungkapan yang gw tulis setidaknya masih bisa terbaca, semoga :) dan Ketika menerima Promo ini, buruan aja Gw play untuk Menikmati progres Musikal Determination yang proses mixing serta Mastering-nya dikerjakan Oleh Abadi Erlangga-nya Band Rusuah yang sudah punya Kredit Bagus discene tanah air. dimulai dengan sebuah Intro yang rasanya makin nambah penasaran sebelum mencicipi hidangan utama " Alam Mimpi yang Hilang ", Track yang telah dipersiapkan secara matang sejak Determination terbentuk, dengan Pukulan Drum konstan memulai pada Part awal-nya gw Udah merasakan Sound musikal yang menarik dengan typical Musik lebih mengingatkan kembali dengan Era Awal Within Temptation, Tristania hingga The Sins Of Thy Beloved terlihat dari Blocking Ryhym serta Balutan Piano string-nya yang kemudian Lantunan Female Vocal coba larut dalam pusaran Harmonisasi Riff yang terasa Gelap dan Depresif, are reliant on drawing emotions from their audience, a very large hole in their appeal has been created. dan Gw menangkap Typical Female Vocal Thina Whoot yang terdengar masih Polos sering lepas dari Draft Pattern Harmonisasi, sehingga Pada akhirnya Sedikit terdengar beberapa kali " lepas " dari line Pattern vokal, terlalu meresapi tempo yang ada mungkin kadang membuat Karakter vokal-nya menjadi terdengar polos selain hanya melantunkan Lini Vokal yang monoton, memperhatikan kemudian Raungan Growl Female Haslinda juga masih kurang mendapat Polesan dan terkesan Datar. Mungkin jika Ke-2 Female vokal lebih berani bereksplorasi dengan Pattern Vokal dan tidak larut terus dengan tempo Instrumen laennya, jelas jadi tantangan berbeda yang Berarti lagi. sementara Gw mendengar untuk Karakter Musik-nya sudah dapat menempati Porsi sesuai pattern-nya serta lebih terasa " Megah ". and the songs seem to drone on and on solely for the purpose of allowing the Guitar Rythym to ruin them completely. Kemudian Track " Meraga dalam Bayangan ", Masih gw mendengarkan Pattern Vokal Thina Whoot Rada " Kurang " dapat menyatu dengan Harmonisasi Instrumen, apalagi ketika memasuki Refrain, jelas disitu lebih akan terasa-nya. Mungkin sedikit masukan Juga ketika Solo Gitar, pada part-part belakang-nya mesti mendapat perhatian lagi dengan struktur nada-nya terasa " Kurang " Match. Memang bagi Gw, secara Komposisi musikal sudah terasa Maksimal, namun Determination Masih harus lebih banyak memoles Kekuatan Sesi Vokal lebih kuat tanpa harus takut untuk banyak Berekplorasi juga beberapa solo Gitar. Menawarkan Keheningan dan Kepedihan yang semakin Mencekam, Promo ini siap menjadi teman nyantai Malam Menjelang tidur tanpa distorsi sound yang terasa mengiris dan keep Headbang. Well pastinya untuk yang akan datang, Siap-siap banget aja Gw mendengar Kejutan baru Determination berangkat lebih mengejutkan dari promo ini, Gw Yakin ! The atmosphere created is always interesting, but the metal elements are never missing from the action and It all blends together very nicely comes across as a bit more driving and methodical.

Dani Filth masih menjadi Musisi yang Serius dengan Karir-nya bareng COF. Die-hard fans may have not trouble digesting this heavy-hammered album all at once, but if you slowly taste what you're served you'll see that the witches did indeed come back with a vengeance.

Ada banyak pertanyaan memang tentang materi ini sebelumnya, apakah ada pergeseran yang signifikan terjadi, namun kayaknya gw masih yakin COF bakal tetap membawa kejutannya, dimulai dengan Intro " Walpurgis Eve ", rasa penasaran kita akan tertahan selama 1:29 dengan permainan Violin Alexey Aslamas dan Cimbalom-nya Dalibor Strunc yang di Konduktori oleh Milos Makovsky, tetap menjadi Warna Khas COF seperti dimateri sebelumnya. " Yours Immortally… " barulah kemudian menghajar seketika dengan Pukulan Beat yang cepat dan Gelap ! Some parts of the song had a clear sound dedicated mostly to the twin guitars but other than that it's mostly Marthus' overpowering blast beats, guitars playing freely, and some background symphonies that added to the chaos ! mungkin inilah salah satu alasan Dani masih mempertahankan Performa Drummer Marthus sejak bergabung tahun 2006, Drummer Plontos berwarganegara asli Czech Republic tetap Powerfull dengan Skill Dinamis-nya. Kemudian Suguhan Melodic Dark Riffing Marek "Ashok" Smerda dan Richard Shaw tetap menjadi Kombinasi yang penuh perhitungan melahirkan Komposisi COF tetep Excellent, delivers some great riffs that really represent ! layaknya membuka Pintu Neraka Kegelapan, track " Yours Immortally… " tepat sekali menjadi Opening Epik Hitam ini. " Enshrined in Crematoria " tentu bukan hisapan jempol untuk kemudian COF mengenalkan pertama kali Track yang menjadi Induk penggambaran materi album baru ini. Masih menyimak Ramah sekali Multiple Vokal Dani yang tetap cerdas menulis lirik tentang Mitologi serta Dongeng Horror untuk lebih menjadi terasa " Survive " diantara Komposisi-nya. Nice Track with Epic Melodic Harmonization. dilanjut dengan " Deflowering the Maidenhead, Displeasuring the Goddess ", Warna yang sedikit banyak membentuk Atmospheric Style pada part awalnya serta untuk beberapa Fast Part-nya, Masih terselip Beat-beat Indah nan Panas yang siap terus membakar secara epik sebagai pembentukan karakter Horor. There’s more seething tremolo blasts and melodic, dancing, and menacing-but-erotic harmonies at play. kemudian pada " Blackest Magick in Practice ", Beat Headbang yang Erotis dengan Balutan Metallic Riff yang Konsen dengan Warna Melodius lebih banyak menyita konsentrasi dengan memorable Part-nya. Sedikit meredakan suasana yang Memanas hadirlah Instrumen Track " The Monstrous Sabbat (Summoning the Coven) " selama hampir 2 menit yang mencekam suasana sebelum " Hammer of the Witches " menghantam kembali dengan Simponi Beat yang Megah, the symphonics add that necessary dramatic autumnal chill and Dani’s vocals sound more spirited and full organic and insidious within the main musical focus, Yeahh !!! nah disini gw baru mendengar Spoken Female dari Lindsay Schoolcraft yang nyaris kurang menunjukkan Perannya di Album ini. Lalu " Right Wing of the Garden Triptych " gw merasa mendengarkan kembali Materi era " The Principle of Evil Made Flesh " terkhusus pada Track " To Eve the Art of Witchcraft ", memang secara ga sadar kita disini kerap diajak Flashback dengan beberapa Konsep materi awal COF. " The Vampyre at My Side " terus menuangkan Ide-ide Brilian dalam Mengkomposisi Elemen Symphonic dengan Sentuhan Kuat Extreme Gothic Black Metal-nya, ini yang menjadi Bagian paling menonjol membuat Gw juga Fans begitu menikmati Aransemen COF sejak awal, Persis Juga pada " Onward Christian Soldiers ", tiada Ide yang tak terkombinasi dengan Indah bagi COF lewat Karakter Simfoni dinamis. dan " Blooding the Hounds of Hell " menjadi Closing Track yang sesuai dengan Skema Serial tetap Match melebur dalam sebuah Ilustrasi sisi gelap Kehidupan Manusia dengan Setan. Meski tidak ada kejutan yang meluap, Lagi lagi " Hammer Of The Witches " tetap menjadi playlist berkualitas di tahun 2015. Extremely Aggressive Symphonic Black metal with Overwhelmingly Gothic overtones and a Heightened sense of melody you just plain don't get from a lot of other black metal bands, Yeachhh ... is absolutely a return to form for COF, who fused their modern, more streamlined sensibilities with the savage Symphonic Black Metal of yesteryear.

Terasa Ilfil Juga kalo terlalu sering mendengarkan 1 genre beberapa hari ini, biasanya dengan sajian dasyat Irama Brutal Death Metal, tapi kayaknya juga butuh penyegaran baru untuk genre musik yang gw sukai lainnya, Symphonic Death Metal ! makanya gw pengen mencoba album anyar, band Symphonic Death Metal terkenal Finlandia, Eternal Tears Of Sorrow !, Masih dari scene Finlandia yang sudah menjadi gudang-nya band2 genre Non Brutal Death Metal ( Prosentase Pertumbuhannya memang kalah Pesat dinegeri ini .ed ), sejak terbentuk tahun 1994, Eternal Tears Of Sorrow telah melalui Evolusi Progres bermusiknya, dari Thrash Metal lalu Melodic Death Metal hingga akhirnya lebih kental nuansanya Symphonic Death Metal. Band yang masih menyisakan 2 member aslinya ini, Gitaris Jarmo Puolakanaho dan Bass/Vokal Altti Veteläinen ini masih mengingatkan sekali sentuhan permainan gaya Amorphis lama, The atmosphere of this album is very promising. Selain gw penikmat Musik Death Metal Keras, Kadang gw juga bukanlah Pendengar yang terlalu Fanatis pada sebuah Genre Musik saja, coz bagi Gw dimana Mood Gw lagi gimana pada Sikon Gimana, sebenarnya sajian dari sebuah musik dari Genre Apapun tetap dapat kita nikmati hehehehe, Gothic Metal adalah mungkin salah satu Faforite disaat Gw lagi Gombyong wkwkwkwkkwk, coz memang sejak dulu Genre Gothic dengan sentuhan kental elemen Metal masih menjadi pilihan gw, salah satu yang masih begitu memorable dalam ingatan gw adalah penampilan Band Gothic/Doom Metal asal Kroasia ini, Ashes You Leave yang eksis sejak tahun 1995 dengan nama awal sebagai Icon. dan untuk pertama kalinya debut album full ke-3 mereka " The Inheritance of Sin and Shame " adalah album penting band ini yang mulai memasuki masa Transisi saat Ashes You Leave lebih mulai memainkan Gaya Gothic Metal dengan sentuhan Kental Doom Metal, memang tidak seperti 2 album sebelumnya, " The Passage Back to Life ( 1998 ) dan Desperate Existence ( 1999 ) ", lebih menampilkan Sentuhan Death Metal yang kental. dan album Ke-3 ini dengan Track Memorable banget bagi gw " Tin Horns ", Menawarkan sentuhan Gothic/Doom Metal gaya Tristania, The Sins Of Thy Beloved, Paradise Lost hingga My Dying Bride abis, namun lebih dimainkan dengan sentuhan yang Tajam tidak sekedar imej Gloomy aja. even without too much originality Ashes You Leave suceeded to create very strange and interesting dark atmosphere, that sounds, for paradox, very unique. Memang ada waktunya tersendiri gw mengalami sebuah titik jenuh jika harus setiap hari terkungkung dengan sajian musik cadas serba keras, pikiran ini seperti terasa tersiksa dengan beat yang bikin irama detak jantung semakin terpacu hehehe, makanya genre musik Gothic, Power, Heavy dan Folk metal adalah salah satu alternative Rasa Boring gw. menikmati sajian Musik Symphonic Power/Gothic Metal bagi gw telah memberikan beberapa Refresh otak yang sangat berarti, apalagi ditemani dengan Secangkir Teh Hangat dan beberapa batang rokok melewati malam sendirian cieeeeee ... terlalu mendramatisir keadaan deh bawaannya hahahaha ... tapi memang sajian perdana Symphonic Power/Gothic Metal bagus asal Hungary ini menjadi pilihan gw ketika mendapatkan CD pertama mereka ini sejak terbentuk 2011, dengan menawarkan beberapa komposisi penyejuk jalan darah ke otak, anti galau, pikiran gw pokoknya kembali fresh aja untuk menemukan ide2 atau melakukan kembali sesuatu menjadi tambah spirit. ihirrrr ! walau sayang banget gw kurang begitu memahami struktur dan bahasa Hungaria memang kadang menghadapkan gw dengan kesulitan memahami Karakter dan Imej band ini sendiri, tantangan memang. tapi cukuplah gw merasakan merdu-nya vokalis cantik Dudás Ivett dengan karakter suara melankolis dan Power-nya ini menjadi Icon penting setiap karakter lagu yang diciptakan, sedikit banyak juga mengingatkan bagaimana gw pernah menikmati lagu2nya Oratory, Ancient Bard, Arkona, Wisdom dan beberapa gaya bermain Stratovarius. komposisi musik yang kerap dipenuhi dengan harmonisasi dan gaya Tradisional Heavy metal bertabur bumbu Melodius yang dimainkan riffing guitar signifikan hampir disetiap lagunya cukup menggambarkan 10 materi berdurasi hampir se-jam ini. dan semuanya ditulis dalam bahasa Hungaria yang disuarakan dengan cukup powerfully oleh Vokalis Dudás Ivett melalui Intonasi serasi dengan pembawaan tema liriknya yang bernuansa Epic. lebih banyak mengajak angan pikiran bawah sadar kita untuk dibawa kedimensi lain tentang indah sebuah kehidupan saja layaknya, Harmonisasi Nada Keyboard dan Riff melodiusnya memang lebih mengenal Feel gw, apalagi pas lagi Moody-nya hehehehe. sepertinya kesegaran baru akan semakin kita rasakan dengan lebih memberi semangat dan attitude positif dalam menjalani kehidupan ini. dan yang sempat menyukai lagu2nya Oratory, band Symphonic Power Metal asal Portugal era album ke-2 mereka " Beyond Earth " atau model Dark Moor hingga Karakter awal Nightwish mungkin akan mulai menyukai konsep band ini. particularly the fast flow since many of the slower tracks have been front loaded.
