Perjalanan Karir band Melodic/Symphonic Power Metal asal Bruck an der Mur, Styria, Austria yang eksis sejak tahun 2000 sudah Gw kenal baik Album2nya menjadi bagian dari playlist Relaxing gw hehehehe, ternyata memang seperti kebanyakan band lainnya, ga mulus seh, apalagi harus kehilangan Icon Penting di Garda terdepan band, saat Female Vokalis terbaiknya, Nicole Bogner yang menghembuskan nafas terakhirnya pada 5 Januari 2012 karena Penyakit Kronis-nya, dan posisinya digantikan sejak dirinya mulai sakit tahun 2009 oleh Maxi Nil yang pernah bermain untuk band On Thorns I Lay, ex-Elysion, dan ex-Moonspell (live) disela sela tour album ke-3 nya " Trinity ", dan " Ethera " adalah materi ke-3 nya, masih tetap menawarkan style vokal yang khas dan powerfully. dan masih membawa gitaris baru, Cris tian sejak Ep " Maria Magdalena " Tahun 2011, yang kini harus tanpa kehadiran Gitaris asli Band, Werner Fiedler. sejak mendengarkan track awal " The Ark ", sepertinya konsep VOA memang tetap terjaga kualitasnya dari materi2 sebelumnya. The music ranges from a fast paced melodic style of power metal, similar to Dark Moor, to a slower, more gothic inspired style. While the band is competent musically. perpaduan Male dan Female Vokal menjadi Konsep Kuat VOA sejak terbentuk, sehingga inilah masih style asli VOA. dengan komposisi musik yang Easy Listening perpaduan antara Gaya Power Metal dengan Gothic Metal plus sentuhan gaya Electro Keyboard Martin Harb. Kekuatan Karakter Vokal Khas Maxi masih bisa dibanggakan untuk duet dengan Mario. Sentuhan Solo Melodius Gitar cantik juga kerap ditorehkan oleh Cris Tian. kemudian " Machinage " pun lebih terasa Epic banget sentuhannya. The fast paced sections have chugging guitars riffs, double bass runs, soaring lead work and, as with everything else here, comes backed by a nonstop wall of string inspired orchestrations, The slower style has subtle melodic guitar lines twining alongside piano segments, once again backed by an onslaught of orchestrated keyboard music. meskipun gw kurang begitu paham betul konsep Power metal, namun bisa gw tuliskan kalo materi kali ini semakin mantap dan matang tertuang dalam komposisi musik yang asli ciamik, cocok banget dinikmati dengan secangkir susu coklat panas dan Menyalakan Rokok mild hehehehe hmmmmm ..... selain beberapa track yang Nge-beat, beberapa Track Balada tetap seperti biasa dapat kita nikmati disini seperti " Vicious Circle, Cave Behind the Waterfall, Bestiality vs. Integrity dan Tlaloc's Grace (Orchestra version) ( hanya tersedia pada versi Digipact aja.ed ) sementara yang lain tetap siap menggoyang Kepala kita terus dan terus hehehehe. As for the rest, including the final track, there's generally nothing loathsome about them, but they do little to perk the ears thanks to the bloated symphonics and rehashed rhythms. The prevalent sound of the band works well enough for a certain extent, but by not changing the dynamics at any point throughout the recording, it can hurt the accessibility of the later tracks which need all the help they can get since the most memorable tunes in terms of songcraft are firmly entrenched at the commencement. Thankfully 2013 has answered every Helloween fan's prayers with the latest chapter in their story Straight Out Of Hell which corrects many of the mistakes made by the numerous mediocre albums the band has put out in recent years. sebelum mendapatkan CD baru ini, gw sudah lebih dulu dikenalkan dengan hadirnya Video Klip Promo " Nabataea " yang mengangkat tema Sebuah Kerajaan Purba di Arab Utara, dengan konsep clip yang menarik didukung dengan konsep musik mantap, gw menjadi salah satu dari sekian fans Helloween yang nungguin full album ini dirilis hehehe, lagu dengan durasi 7 menit pun memang menjadi Track andalan ditaruh urutan teratas memang lebih membangkitkan adrenalin kita menikmati sajian Heavy/Power Metal yang enerjik dengan sounding cool modern abis. This could not last, however, as Helloween have shown over the years with the quality of their releases slowly dipping, meeting an all time low with the stretch from Chameleon to Rabbits Don't Come Easy and the subsequent two releases. yup masih mengandung karakter bermain musik seperti 2 album diatas. kualitas bermain yang enerjik dan Powerfully, mungkin kurang begitu digemari oleh Old Fans mereka, tapi feedback baru band mendapatkan fans baru dengan konsep seperti ini. Karakter Vokal Kuat Andy Derris masih mendominasi Konsep Musik dan ketukan drummer Dani Löble masih bertenaga full untuk menciptakan improvisasi bermain yang lebih modern ! The drumming on this release is perhaps the finest thing about it with some really quick double bass work but also some extremely varied fills thrown in for good measure. Far from just creating a rhythm and keeping a solid beat the drums add another dimension to this album that can not go ignored with the constantly changing beats that are so fun to listen to. track " Live Now! " kental banget Gaya Bermain Modern Konsep pada Part2 awal yang menghentak! " Waiting for the Thunder " lebih mudah kita cerna Kekuatan Heavy Metal kentalnya untuk anthemic Refrain Song. is certainly a solid enough power metal releases that shows the band to be still alive and kicking. This album is a big screw you to those who wrote the band off after they began to go downhill and each one of the thirteen songs has at least one moment of awesomeness to blow such pessimistic claims out of the water. The riffing is enjoyable and fast paced. " Hold Me in Your Arms " lebih terdengar sentuhan balada dengan dominasi Akustik Gitar. " Straight Out of Hell " terasa begitu kental Nuansa Melodic nya ! This is also a song that has a really fantastic riff-set to it being both fast paced and yet cramming in a huge variety of riffs that are very well written. The crisp production job merely adds to the amazing sound that some of the songs on here achieve with its decent mixing job aside from the bass and the fantastic tone the guitars have. lama2 juga mengingatkan ma track Fenomenal mereka " Power " hmmm .... pada Versi Terbatas pasaran Jerman, Pihak label menambahkan 2 Bonus Track " Another Shot of Life " dan 1 lagu yang didedikasikan untuk sosok Mendiang Jonathan Douglas Lord atau yang lebih akrab dikenal sebagai Jon Lord, mantan Keyboards, Organ Legenda Rock Deep Purple yang wafat pada 16 Juli 2012 karena Kanker Pankreas. 13 lagu berdurasi 1 jam ini memang lebih memberikan power dan spirit kita menjalani Kehidupan ini dengan tatapan optimisme saja kayaknya hehehe... Straight Out Of Hell is a mixed bag of an album that succeeds at what it aims to do in numerous places but is very flawed at other times. Were the bass mixed a little higher and had Waiting For The Thunder been cut from the album as well as the soloing been a little better then this would have been an even better release than it already is. Bisa Gw katakan banget kalo Scene Metal Negeri Sakura Jepang memang lagi Demam Berkepanjangan untuk Genre Music Melodic/Power Metal dengan dominasi Karakter Solo Gitar yang begitu kuat, makanya ga heran juga kalau negeri ini menjadi langganan Konser beberapa band Melodic/Power Metal-nya ketimbang death metal-nya, karena memang Jepang adalah Pangsa pasar yang besar untuk genre ini. dan banyak juga yang telah Gw review disini, karena gw juga adalah salah satu penikmat sajian genre melodius Dinamis ini sejak lama. dan ga banyak yang gw tahu tentang Band ini selain adalah perpanjangan Tangan Proyek 2 band sebelumnya, Electric Red dan Battlash, so gw akan coba menulis beberapa tentang konsep album ini, yang pasti sounding yang ditampilkan disini adalah kental sekali gaya-nya Dismember dan At The Gates banget. so buat elo fans gaya Death Metal-nya Dismember era album2 awal bakalan menyukai gaya sounding band ini, apalagi Noxious menambahkan beberapa sentuhan melodius yang kental dan kuat hampir disetiap aransemenya, lengkap dengan sayatan solo gitar cantik dari beberapa Featuring artist yang ditampilkannya. " At Dusk in Carnage " adalah Track awal yang langsung memamerkan gaya Stipping Riff dinamis ala At The Gates dengan balutan sounding in The Vein Dismember banget, sentuhan tajam harmonisasi dan gaya melodic Riffing-nya memang membuat gw menikmati setiap jeda lagu dengan mendalam, pertarungan antara At The Gates, Dismember, In Flames lama dan Dark Tranquillity adalah yang terkuat, bahkan beberapa Riffing-nya mengingatkan sekali dengan Punya-nya Dismember. apalagi Solo dan Part Track " The Remnants of a Chaos (feat. Hasshin; Yamato) " memang mengingatkan banget dengan " Dreaming In Red " nya Dismember banget. solo project Japannesse Band memang kerap mengundang perhatian dengan skill talenta-nya, rata2 memang tidak terlalu serius untuk tampil di Publik dan lebih banyak memilih untuk berdiam dalam Ruangan berhari-hari untuk sebuah karya yang luar biasa ingin mereka persembahkan untuk spesial penikmatnya, terlalu Idealis dengan Kreatifitas memang perlu, walau kadang terlalu sulit untuk mengikuti perkembangan informasi dari mereka sendiri menjadi kendala berarti. yah mau gimana lagi ini memang sudah menjadi pilihan musisi berbakatnya untuk tidak terlalu mengekspos diri. buat fans Swedish Sound In The vein Dismember, Strapping Metal Riffing-nya At The Gates serta sayatan Solo Gitar Ciamik untuk melarutkan suasana kacau dengan persembahan ini, gw jamin akan sangat terbawa sekali deh dimensi khayalan kita hahahaha.
