" Symptoms of a Common Sickness " menjadi debut perdana full albumnya setelah cukup sukses mengenalkan diri dengan demo " Through this Path " tahun 2010 jarak 1 tahun band ini terbentuk. meskipun dari Italy, Band ini lumayan memberikan sentuhan ala Sounding Gothenburg banget, ga ayal banget karakteristik ala Dark Tranquillity, In Flames hingga Amon Amarth sangat terasa sekali. seperti biasa membuat penasaran dalam rangka masih tahap foreplay, track pertama " From High ", band ini masih belum menampakkan sebuah terapi hitamnya pada sentuhan musiknya, lebih cenderung bergaya Melodic Doom Metal yang begitu kental ala Amorphis serta Novembre banget. namun baru terasa karakteristik mereka begitu masuk track ke-2 " Black Therapy ", spontan enerji mereka menjadi lebih meledak2 dengan beat musik yang cepat dan tajam. Sounding Old School Death Metal Raw gaya lamanya Entombed dan Dismember cukup menjadi dasar awal pemilihan Gothenburg sounding band. style death metal-nya bahkan lebih mendapat sentuhan kental Thrash metal ala Kreator sehingga memang acap kali membawa gw ke nuansa headbang ! sementara konsep melodic Riffing-nya juga ga terlalu berat selain kerap menampilkan sentuhan melodius part aja. atau secara simple dan easy listening kalo gw gambarkan, kayak gaya Betrayer dari jakarta itu hehehe .... The songwriting here isn't technically that bad, and the band is unquestionably talented, it's just that they're trying to do too much at once, cramming too many unnecessary elements into each song and making them kind of unmemorable, despite sounding cool sometimes. This album left me craving more, and more, and more. I could listen again, and again, and again and never get bored. It might be a stretch to call it the greatest album of all time, but it is surely my favorite. And it is definitely the greatest of the Gothenburg/Melodeath genre. The difference is on their previous releases they were stupid and irritating. Here their stupidity translates into fun. Slamming Stuff... URGGGHHHH IRGGHHHHH ERRRGHHHHH !!!!!!!!!!!! sepertinya mo muntah saja jikalau hari ini harus terus menulis Stuff tentang genre yang satu ini hehehehe .... Album Gress ke-3 Slamming Brutal Death Metal asal Rome, Lazio, Italy masih melanjutkan pembantaian kejam sejak 2 albumnya dikenal oleh slamming Freak, " Putrescent Clitoral Fermentation " (2007) dan " Post-Abortion Slut Fuck " (2010) seperti menjadi Anthemic saja Genre Berdarah ini terus mem-Booming di Kancah extreme music Internasional. While the drums often play at lightning fast speeds, they are programmed. While the guitar work is not very intricate, the guitar player has a good sense of rhythm and his style of playing is fun. There are plenty of slams, a decent amount of memorable riffs and a fair amount of grindcore sections. The slam sections are well executed and always fun (and this is coming from a guy who isn't exactly slam death's biggest fan). The grindcore sections, while not badly done, can occasionally grow a bit tiresome. They aren't played excessively often and are not long in duration, so this doesn't grow to be an overwhelming problem. The songwriting is very straightforward and to the point.
